Pre Sales Consultant
The Pre Sales Consultant will be working as a part of an existing team of Pre-Sales consultants with the main objective of supporting the sales team in achieving its target by designing commercially and technically feasible solutions for the ICT requirements of (potential) customers.
Accountabilities & Scope
Main activities:
(1)Support the sales team and (potential) customers during negation phases with the objective of finding the best possible feasible solution for the ICT requirements of (potential) customers based on the product portfolio
(2)Coordinate with the various subsidiaries and Departments Worldwide for negotiating and putting together the best possible feasible solution for the company and its (potential) customers
(3)Coordinate with vendors and third parties Worldwide for finding, negotiating and putting together the best possible feasible solution for the company and its (potential) customers
(4)Consulting customers and colleagues for finding he best possible feasible solution to their requirements
(5)Design ICT Solutions for (potential) customers
(6)Support Product team in the definition of the requirements for the development of new products.
(7)Present ICT solutions to (potential) customers internal and external audience
(8)Price proposed solutions based on all internal and external cost elements
(9)Support the Delivery and Project management team during the realisation of the solutions ordered by customers
Required skill:
(1)Good negotiation skills
(2)Understanding of commercial matters
(3)Sound understanding of legacy and modern networking technologies (SDH, ATM, MPLS, Ethernet, SSL)
(4)Good presentation skills
(5)Good communications skills
(6)Good listening skills
(7)Capable of working Independently and in a self-motivated mode
(8)Eager to learn new services, new technologies, new people and to take on new challenges
(9)Willing to visit customers and our offices worldwide
(10)Excellent English knowledge

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
•Network:Basic/advanced knowledge for Ethernet, ATM, LL, IP-VPN/MPLS
•Network devices:Basic knowledge for Router, Firewall
•PC/Servers:Knowledge for Windows (XP/Vista), MS Office
•Languages: English and German. Dutch and eventually French would be very welcome. |
